- BareFit - Our shoes are constructed for sockless wear. The linings are a Dri-Lex fabric with Smart-Silver and FRICTION FREE combining to battle moisture, odor and reduce hot spots.
- Tri-O-Mechanics - Addresses the different mechanics employed when legs are fatigued from cycling. Tri-O-Mechanics encourages the athlete to run on the midfoot/forefoot to maximize efficiency and maintain momentum
- Tri-Dry - Allows water to drain from shoe and away from the foot through ducts in sockliner, strobel board and midsole. Zoot upper materials are all hydrophobic, preventing the absorption of water. This creates a more comfortable environment for the foot while allowing the shoe to maintain its light weight.
- Quick-Lace - The Zoot footwear lacing system that allows the athlete to adjust the fit with a single-handed pull. Designed to speed transition times, Quick-Lace allows for fast entry with our anatomical pull tabs and stretch lace.
- FRICTION FREE zone - Strategically placed “zones” are constructed in the arms and inseams of our garments to reduce chafing abrasion and skin irritation. It is also used it in the lining of our Footwear to reduce hot spots and blisters.
- CarbonSpan+ - Provides midfoot support, torsional rigidity and energy return on toe-off. The midfoot Carbon Span+ has a flexible extension that runs into the forefoot for a smooth, responsive toe-off. Carbon fiber is lighter and more tunable than traditional midfoot support materials like TPU
